Jour 54 sur 60 · B2 · Écriture
Begin each paragraph with a topic sentence that states its one main idea. The other sentences support it with a reason, an example or a detail; when the idea changes, start a new paragraph.
De nombreux apprenants commencent par une phrase générale (In this paragraph I will talk about…) ou mettent trois idées dans un seul paragraphe. Les lecteurs et les examinateurs regardent la première phrase pour trouver le point principal, donc une phrase claire rend votre écrit plus facile à suivre.

B: Start with your main point: “Online learning saves time.”
A: And then?
B: Give a reason and an example. Put the part about cost in a new paragraph.
Choisissez la bonne réponse. Les réponses sont à la fin de la leçon.
A good topic sentence makes a point rather than just naming a topic: Online learning saves time is better than Now I will talk about the internet. Keep it broad enough for two or three supporting sentences.
