Advice, information, homework: Kein -s und kein „a“

Die Regel

Einige Substantive sind im Englischen nicht zählbar: advice, information, homework, furniture, news, luggage. Sie erhalten kein -s und kein a/an: Sagen Sie some advice, a piece of advice oder a lot of information.

Im Arabischen (نصائح, معلومات) und Französischen (des conseils, des informations) haben diese Wörter Pluralformen, weshalb Lernende advices und informations schreiben. Im Englischen erhalten sie niemals ein -s, und das Verb steht im Singular: The information is correct.
